This is a research and design project performed by Tobbi Vu, under the guidance of Professor Goffredo Puccetti, as part of the Post-Graduation Practical Training Program 2021 at NYU Abu Dhabi.

The project is to digitize the learning process of Arabic calligraphy. With limited time and resources, I chose to digitize the Naskh script, based on the book The British Museum Arabic Calligraphy - Naskh script for beginners by Mustafa Ja’far. The Arabic pronunciation is based on the online resources from Stanford University.
